A deaf Jedi's lipreading nightmare

A deaf Jedi's lipreading nightmare

In the deaf community, lipreading is a difficult skill to master. It's made especially difficult when the subject has a mustache, weird mouth shape, or uses a weird accent. Let's hope the force is with the Jedi who has to lipread THESE mouths. I almost didn't get this photo. I was in such a rush when I went through the gallery the first time, because they were trying to close. I was sure I got this photo, but I went through my photos after the symposium when my dad and I were at his friend's house, and realised it wasn't there! ACK! I ran clear across town, all the way down Main Street USA to the Masonic Temple, hoping I could get there before they closed. When I got there, they had already taken down most of the artwork, including Matt's. I lingered a bit to look at what was actually still there. After a little bit, one of the workers managed to pull out Matt's artwork for me so I could get a photo. THANKS!!! So here's the comic in all its glory, in dramatic lighting.
