Deaf alienz!!!

Note to self: take a close up photo AND a further-away photo in case the camera couldn't focus at that close of distance.

It's a little blurry, so here's what it says:
"Deaf aliens were here last night!"
"How do you know they were deaf?"

Someone please tell me what the aliens are signing. I went through my sign language dictionary looking for it(I guessed a few words, then just started looking for the gesture), but to no avail. I don't believe it's "I love you", because the thumb should be out.
